Majors step to the plate for new season with double-header against Jet Box

LONDON FREE PRESS – April 26, 2019 – The London Majors launch their 2019 season with its familiar double-header exhibition set against the Michigan Jet Box Saturday.

First pitch is 1:05 p.m. at Labatt Park.

Last fall, the Jet Box captured the Roy Hobbs World Series — an event that celebrates a 600-team association across Canada, the United States, Caribbean and Europe – in Fort Myers/Lee County, Fla.

London opens its regular season May 10 against Hamilton. The Majors have been busy signing talent the past week and a half, bringing back all-star outfielder Byron Reichstein for an eighth season, adding Badgers grad and outfielder Jacob Mansfield and Ancaster righthander Ayden Hannon.
